At Canned Wine Co. we have decided to say no to sales and discount codes on this Black Friday (and the next and the next).

We want to encourage consumers to shop sustainably and only buy what they need to avoid wastage. We are asking consumers to take a stand against mindless consumption in all product categories and question the overconsumption and waste associated with Black Friday through to Cyber Monday (24th - 27th November 2023).

While overproduction and a culture of disposability are more associated with fashion in particular, even the wine industry is linked to high wastage - British people waste over 3.1 million litres of wine per year.

Please shop mindfully this black Friday, and thereafter.
